Anyone want to tell me why suddenly at 4 months I feel like my nipples might spontaneously combust. Bra's hurt, water hurts, sitting hurts. You get the picture. Always get sore breasts during my cycle and for the early pregnancy but never had nipples of fire before.
Is this normal, should I be concerned? Can't find much on Dr. Google.

Absolutely normal.Hormones during pregnancy do a number on many body parts, but boobs are definitely effected early on! Those boobs are prepping for a big job! :) Now I am trying to remember when I started leaking colustrum to warn you of that...I "think" it was around 5 months!
Krista - You look great!! Love the pictures. (I am going to catch up on commenting all at once). When I take extra progesterone (not pregnant), my boobs feel the same. So I wonder if the excess prog. is your culprit. Thanks for you contact. I will take you up on your offer. My life has just been crazy busy.
Did I say how excited I am for you??? ...and Happy Birthday. I am so glad that your birthday wish has finally come true.
I think that I've read something about that but for the life of me cannot remember where. Wish I was more help but it sounds normal to me.
Delurking to say congrats and also that I had this with pg #2, I found that it happened if my nipples got cold, then they'd be SUPER sensitive for hours.
My solution was to make nipple warmers ! basically I lined my bra with felt, no problems after that.
Hope it goes away soon.
Can't help you on the boobs... but you look great! Enjoy
The answer to your sore nipples is easy - hormones!
Love that belly. I hope you and Rick are having a great trip!
Wow - that's crazy. I haven't had that, but my boobs are so huge and out of control I can't believe it.
You forgot how much the seatbelt hurts too. I'm 34.5 weeks now and it seems to come and go in phases, like I'm suddenly very aware of my nipples and they are touching everything. I've even tried band-aids over them and then a sports bra to keep them tight. I'm delurking, by the way.
