Heartbeats

OH MY GOD

I think I held my breath for the entire first part of the ultrasound. The tech kept trying to talk to me but I could't focus on what she was saying. Finally she said "are you nervous". I said oh yeah, we've had two chemical pregnancies and I'm not really expecting good news today.

She said, well I'm going to show you this picture before I continue measuring. And she turned the screen to me. And I could see it. Two sacs (much bigger than last week), two blobs in the sacks, and two twinkling lights in the middle of those blogs.

I cried for at least 20 minutes. I just can't believe it.

Oh Krista. This is just so heartening. I'm so thrilled for you.

Isn't it something to have tears because you're happy instead of in pain?

I got tears in my eye reading that! Wishing you the easiest twin pregnancy in the world (from one twin mom to another). Let me know if you have any questions, need any support, or anything whatsoever :-)
