It's only been 4 days

I forgot how anxiety ridden and completely distracting this 2 WW was. I mean I remembered it was bad, just not this bad.

It's only been 4 days and it feels like it has been 4 weeks. What do you mean 4 days is too early to POAS. No... I haven't....not yet.

But I am aware that Beth did on day 6 post day 5 transfer and got a positive. And the one time I got pregnant I got a positive on the first try (first try at the stick not the pregnancy) at day 8 post transfer.

So as you can tell, things are not so cool and collected over here as I had hoped they would be, despite the fact that I am completely swamped by work that is not getting done.

PUH-leeease!! How on earath are you expected to focus on work through all of this... and you've shown tremendous restraint as far as I'm concerned... I'd have poas AGES ago...

The 2ww is the worst...hang in there--I know it's hard, I hope you can find something to distract you. Thinking of you.

I haven't experienced FET, but during IVF I had the perfect excuse to POAS ASAP. I rationalized that I had to verify that the HCG shot was fully out of my system, so I POAS from the beginning. When it started coming back negative I took comfort in the thought that I would not see a false positive. And then I didn't get a positive until AFTER the bloodwork.

Pee on a stick whenever you want. It's torture either way. It's torture to pee too early, get a negative, and sit around wondering if it's just too early. It's torture to sit around wondering if you should pee on a stick. Which torture do you prefer?

Thanks so much for your lovely response to my post. I'll take all the prayers I can get.

Oh, the wait is so hard. Your blasts sounded gorgeous! I hope when you do finally POAS you will be greeted with two gorgeous lines...or a plus...or whatever a positive is on the brand you use!

The dreaded wait and the torture of to test or not to test. I always test the morning of the beta. Hope the wait will get better and go very quickly. Wishing you the best!

Krista - Hang in there... there are so many ways to justify the POAS... will you feel better, though? (playing devil's advocate, here!)

Thanks for stopping by my blog - cyclesista! :)

It's funny, when I thought about doing a FET, I wasn't sure I was ready to handle the 2ww.

But I am WAY too chicken to POAS - I can't give you any assvice with that. The only thing I can say is that I have heard beta #s with FETs start low; something about the thaw makes them late implanters. If it does work (*crossing fingers*) you might get BFNs all the way until your beta.

I will be hoping that you get the best answer possible. :)
